In Clapham, a vibrant area of London, a young professional couple sought to transform their east-facing garden into a contemporary space for entertainment. The primary requirement was to create a private, stylish outdoor area, shielded from the views of neighboring properties.

Overview:

The design focus for this London Garden was on modern elegance and privacy. A key feature was the dining area set beneath a cedar pergola, serving as a natural screen from overlooking windows. Scented Star Jasmine, trained over the pergola, added a sensory delight to the space. To enhance privacy at the rear of this Clapham London Garden, a raised planting bed with pleached trees was installed, effectively blocking views from adjacent houses.
